Really nice no frills pub with nice friendly staff.
Went there on Sunday lunch 09-12-2018 with my partner and sister we ordered roast beef for me and my partner and sister had turkey. Well the beef was very thick and it was like leather and very very tuff indeed. And my partners was the same so on the basis of that we wont be going back dont know how much was the bill my sister paid for it. It I was paying I would have said my peace.
Nice pub. Plenty of parking to the front or in the field opposite the pub. We went for the Sunday roast. Portions are a fantastic size. There was no card machine on the day we went & we had no cash. The landlord was good enough for me to come back & pay the following day. We will be back for another roast or maybe even pop in on a Thursday for Thai night.
Would definitely recommend this place. Had a lovely evening in the function room for a family party. Food was excellent lovely choice of menu. Friendly staff.
Great food in restaurant. Excellent service from all the staff. Currently being painted outside so deceptive as to being open although there is signage open as usual. Will look nice when painting is finished shortly. Highly recommend the food and alcohol served here, nice atmosphere inside too. Great value for money as well.
