Really enjoyed our visit here as a large family group. There was a really good choice from the menu and although busy the food was tasty and the service extremely good. When they found out that it was my grandmothers birthday they brought out a lovely surprise even though the rest of the group werent having dessert.
Long wait for food, average taste. Very bright in restaurant. Vegetables cold. Lack of interaction with waiters bit like a conveyer belt. Not sure if I would return. A lot to me went wrong to convince me a one off bad experience!!

Visited 2 weeks ago for a work Christmas meal. The staff were extremely friendly and the table service could not be faulted. The food however was a disappointment throughout. I got the 3 course meal and one drink and this cost me 45. I am completely fine paying a decent amount if the meal is of good value but this was not. The main meal was the smallest I've seen. The lamb ordered was 2 thin slices, a few potatoes, and half a carrot. No other vegetables or bread was offered. The starter and dessert were small but this is to be somewhat expected. The flavour was no impressive either. If I'm getting small portions, I expect big flavors! Upon leaving, I was very sad as this pub looks like a classy place, but needs to rethink the dining experience.
Eight of us went for our son's birthday. My husband had ravioli for his main course. The plate consisted of 8 to 10 pieces swimming in a butter sauce. There was hardly any lamb in them. Heart attack waiting to happen. Three other people in our party did not enjoy their meals either. We should have complained at the time but unfortunately we didn't. The prices of drinks were quite high too. The meals and drinks were not worth the amount were were charged. Not worth the amount were charged.On a good note the staff we very friendly.
